RV Insurance in Utah
In Midway and throughout the state of Utah, recreational vehicles or RVs are broken into two categories: those that can be driven, like a motorhome or truck camper, and those that can’t, like a trailer.
Anyone operating a drivable RV must carry liability insurance at minimum for it to be driven legally on public roads. Further, depending on the type of RV, some inspections may be required to ensure the RV is safe to drive. Check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles to gain access to specific regulations on your particular RV. Depending on the price and value of the RV or trailer, liability insurance may not cover potential damage or financial loss in the event of an accident.
Give us a call today, and one of our agents can review all the factors to help you decide on an appropriate level of coverage.
Boat Insurance in Utah
Just like automobiles, motorboats, sailboats, and other personal watercrafts require degrees of coverage before they can be legally, and safely, operated on state waters.
In the state of Utah, all motorboats and personal watercrafts are required to carry owner or operator’s liability insurance. This insurance should be kept on the boat in a safe, waterproof case in addition to any special registration information.
There are a few exceptions to this rule, such as motorboat engines with less than 50 horsepower and all airboats.Registration is requiredon all watercrafts as well. Decals must be current and easily readable.
Visitors to Midway, or elsewhere in Utah, do not need to obtain special insuranceas long as their boats or watercrafts have current and legal coverage from the state of origin.
